This is a killer little amp if you are looking for something very clean and versitile. If you play fretless and fretted it is perfect. I can switch between the two with just a push of a button or save it to switch with all the other setting. I like things simple and I don't like messing with my amp much at gigs. This way I set up what I like and I go with it and I can even use a foot switch for my presets. I never even touch the amp. The best thing about this amp is that it is very stable. I run a ampeg 410 cab or an aguilar GS210 (sorry ampeg) so depending on what I run I can get all 500 watts to the 410 because I rewired it to a 2 Ohm load. I usually don't like running that low of an impeadance, but this amp stays cool as can be. Another thing I love is the FX in/out with a nob to dial effects. I run an original 1961 B-15-n tube head through it to get the tube warmth when I want it. Have everything on It that you could possibly want and nothing else to get in your way of a good clean ampeg sound. Of all the gear I own. This is my favorite rig. (Ampeg Porta Flex B-15N, Ampeg D500R, Aguilar GS210) If you what super clean and flexablility of a lot of styles. You cant beat this set up.
